Li Yang, male, born in 1991 in Laiyang, Shandong Province, holds a Ph.D. and is a member of the Communist Party of China. He graduated from Shanghai University in June 2023 with a Doctor of Engineering degree. From 2021 to 2022, he pursued joint doctoral training at Technische Universität Dresden in Germany. In July 2023, he joined the Department of Internet of Things, School of Computer Science and Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology. His main research interests include machine learning, medical image processing, deep learning, artificial intelligence, and coal pore-fracture analysis. He has published over 20 academic papers in journals and conferences both domestically and internationally, and has served as a reviewer for SCI-indexed journals including "IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement," "Transactions of the Institute of Measurement and Control," "Neurocomputing," and "Expert Systems with Applications."

Machine Vision-Based Intelligent Traffic Light Dispatching System (January 2020-March 2021)

- Collaboration: Ningbo Jisheng Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.
- Description: Developed a vision-based moving vehicle speed measurement system and an intelligent traffic light dispatching system.
- Responsibilities: Independently researched, designed, and developed an intelligent surveillance camera that detects traffic flow information and performs data analysis to achieve intelligent dispatching, reducing idle waiting time and improving traffic efficiency.

Multi-Biometric Drug Distribution System (October 2019-January 2020) – Host Computer

- Collaboration: Shanghai Daojian Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd.
- Description: Developed an automatic drug distribution system with multi-biometric verification.
- Responsibilities: Designed and implemented a doctor-patient drug information management system, created host computer software interface, and implemented facial recognition and ID card verification functions to control PLC for automatic drug distribution.

Online Display Screen Defect Detection Based on Machine Vision (March 2019 - August 2019)
- Collaboration: Academician Chai Tianyou's team (Northeastern University) and Hangzhou Dafeng Technology Co., Ltd.
- Description: Developed a vision-based display defect detection system.
- Responsibilities: Equipment construction and interface design, feature point-based display screen position correction, and rapid detection and location of display screen defects at multiple scales.
