The CogTwins lab team celebrated with the talented students from Shandong University of Science and Technology (SDUST) who reached the finals in the “Pilot Cup Competition” (先导杯). Dr. Jiehan Zhou, head of the CogTwins lab, hosted a pizza party to honor their achievement, bringing together CogTwins members, the Pilot Cup competitors.
At the event, each attendee introduced themselves and shared their current projects and future goals. CogTwins team members offered advice and support, sharing insights about their own research and encouraging the younger students to keep aiming high.
Dr. Zhou gave an inspiring talk, sharing his own research journey and encouraging students to work together, learn from each other, and build connections. He emphasized the importance of both international and Chinese students collaborating, learning, and growing together.
The evening was more than just a celebration, it was a chance for everyone to build friendships, gain valuable advice, and feel motivated for the future. The CogTwins team, led by Dr. Zhou, provided valuable guidance, leaving students inspired and ready to take on new challenges in their academic and professional journeys.
